Starting career!!
Friday, July 25, 2008
This site is dedicated to newlyweds Tsukasa and Emily Muto who just got married on July 5, 2008. After three weeks of honeymooning, moving, shopping, organizing, and job hunting, we've finally gotten around to creating our own little place on the web in which to share wedding memories and pictures, and other fun things about us. :D Please enjoy!
If you're visiting from "The Way to Your Heart," then I hope you'll take some time to look around and to get to know me (Emi, though my real name is Emily...) a little better. I know many of you are desperately waiting for track 08, and since I've been so insanely busy I haven't yet been able to touch my manga. ;_; So instead I decided it would be a good idea to post some of my wedding pics and memories to share with you guys! So, here goes!

This is just before the ceremony, right as we arrived at the temple. We were sooooooooo nervous! Just for the record, the wedding ceremony (also known as a "sealing") was held at 11:00 on July 5th. I drove up with my mom and dad and Tsukasa drove his parents and aunt and uncle, who came all the way from Japan! It was a moderate day with overcast sky, somewhat humid at times. All in all, exactly what I wanted for my wedding day!
This is just after the ceremony, walking out of the temple as husband and wife!!! I really like this picture because it looks like my dress is glowing, like an angel! :D Tsukasa looks hawt in a tux, ne?? XDI don't have any pictures of the actual wedding ceremony, because cameras aren't allowed into the temple since it is a sacred and holy place for us. I can't even really tell details about the ceremony, other than the overwhelming joy and peace I felt. I knew the whole time that I was making the right choice. It was the sweetest thing I've ever experienced! What made it even better was having all of my aunts, uncles, grandma, and a lot of my cousins there to share it with me. ^_^

Such a happy couple! This was taken right after the ceremony, just outside the temple doors. My friend told me that I was glowing, and I think our smiles show how happy we were at this moment!
A well documented kiss!
The temple grounds are absolutely beautiful. This picture was taken just in front of the fountain. Look at how lush and green everything is! :D Ohhh, I love Washington~~!
My girls!!! They were all so beautiful! <3>
Tsukasa's parents and aunt and uncle came all the way from Sendai for our wedding. We had such an awesome time together and my family absolutely fell in love with them.
My family. My tallest brother (second from right) actually served a mission for our church in Sendai... small world!

Me with my two BEST friends! XD I love you girls!!!
Hahaha, classic!!! All brides should be picked up like this by their grooms!
This is everyone who attended the wedding. These are the dearest people in the world to me. ^___^
My family again, including sisters-in-law and nephews and neice!
This was taken at the very beginning of our reception, which started that evening at 7:00. This is the man who married us. ^^ After the ceremony, we had a luncheon at Sizzler and then Tsukasa and I had some alone time as we checked into the bed & breakfast we'd be staying in that night. The day before my family and Tsukasa's family decorated and set up for the reception, which was a really cool way for them to get to know each other better and feel involved in the wedding. The reception turned out perfectly! I even made a playlist on my iPod of romantic Japanese music to play, hehehe.
The Wedding Party/Reception Line.
The cake! It was so beautiful! I wish that someone had taken a better picture of it, though...

The ring exchange. This picture managed to catch us both making kind of odd faces, hehe. :p
Cutting the cake~~! <3

Mazal Tov!
At the end of the reception, Tsukasa and I changed in to ゆかた (yukata), which is a lightweight summer kimono. This yukata was given to me as a gift from a TWTYH reader and friend of mine. :) Tsukasa's mom and aunt helped with tying the obi, which is actually a lot harder to do than it looks. o_o; Anyway, this is us leaving the reception, going off on our honeymoon! Everyone was blowing bubbles as we left, which made for a pretty unique-looking picture!
The car, decorated in frosting, cookies, balloons, and a cup of bubbly!

"Go Forth and Multiply." Well... maybe someday.
And there we go, off on our own, a whole new world awaiting us... this moment was so exciting, I love to replay it in my mind. ^^ As we drove away, we were just all smiles! By the way, that cup of bubbly on the roof stayed on surprisingly well! Once we got going fast enough, though, it disappeared. :DWe headed to the bed & breakfast and thus began the first part of our honeymoon. Tsukasa's parents would leave on Monday July 7, so we couldn't exactly go anywhere far away until after they left. After they did leave, Tsukasa and I were able to go to the Bavarian village of Leavenworth from Tuesday until Saturday, which was a BLAST!!! I have pictures, but I'll save those for another post. :D
Well, basically, that sums up our wedding! I have a lot more pictures that family members and friends took, and I'll be posting my "professional" photos when I receive them. ^_^ I hope that this has been enjoyable and that it somewhat makes up for the lack of TWTYH updates... ^^; Please feel free to leave comments, Tsukasa and I would love to read them! We'll be posting new things on this site regularly, so please check back often to catch what's new in our lives!
Much love,
Emi & Tsukasa
